Updated Starscream’s flats from Robots in Disguise #2(line art by Andrew Griffith; colors by me) to showcase why I hate seeing Fall of Cybertron stuff now: BECAUSE I REALLY WANT THAT FUCKING BLUE HELMET ON HIM.
The flats from Starscream have changed slightly over time in RiD because flat choices felt off or unbalanced or little areas I could make more accurate to either the line art or the WfC model, but it’s never been anything BIG. “This tiny piece is now red- this tiny piece is now black”, but just up and changing the helmet… it’s not that I worry that it’d make no sense, because one could assume that Starscream just REALLY loved his helmet in blue- or maybe he did it because blue is a calming color and stuff, you know? It would be such a selfish change that’d add nothing to the story and confuse a few readers. (unlike changing Wing’s helmet for the Drift TPB because a good number of readers felt that Wing and Drift’s heads were too similar in color; I thought the eye color and head shape would be enough to cancel that out, but I prefer Wing with the red in his helmet now c: Thanks to Denton for letting me make that change!)
